Note to instructors from the Provost's Office: During spring semester 2008, as the University transitions to the faculty-senate approved Student Rating of Teaching questions, all student rating forms on the Twin Cities campus will be distributed in hard-copy format only. Please contact your department administrator to obtain the new paper SRT forms instead. Classes that are delivered online will still be allowed to use online evaluations. If you are teaching an online course, please contact eval@umn.edu. We will work with faculty governance regarding future formats for the evaluation questionnaires. If you have questions, please contact Billie Wahlstrom, billie@umn.edu. Thank you.
For more information about the new Student Rating of Teaching (SRT) form go to: http://oms.umn.edu/srt Summer 2008 Evaluations:
Summer 2008 evaluations have begun. Evaluations for Summer courses begin the Monday of the last week a course meets and end the following Tuesday. For example, if a course ends Friday, August 8, evaluations would be available to students Monday, August 4 through Tuesday, August 12.
Instructors: Please submit your evaluations requests using the Request to Participate form prior to the last week of your course.
Although you will need your X.500 internet id and password to access the University Course Evaluation site, there is no link between your personal information and your answers. You are assured of complete confidentiality.
